About

Oonagh O’Brien is interested in the physicalities and limitations of lens based technologies. Researching the juxtaposition of the current and the outmoded forms a major direction in her practice while referencing themes of surveillance and looking.

Oonagh holds an MA Art in the Contemporary World from the National College of Art & Design, Dublin, where she also received her undergraduate degree in History of Art & Fine Art: Painting.  She has also been awarded a Diploma in Photography from IADT Dun Laoghaire.
